Portrait of the amazing musician, writer, and good friend Mike Love! 
The original (sold) was painted on stage during his show on Maui April 9th at Da Playground. Finished/detailed the following weeks at home, the reference photo from Nick Gumas, from an incredible performance at Cali Roots fest, was fun to work from and came out lovely with the blurry background, focusing in on Mike doing what he does best, singing the music we all enjoy and cherish. I have had the pleasure to do 30+ live paintings with Mike and have only done one other portrait of him! So this felt like a special way to give my thanks.
